名も知らない街の窓、通り過ぎたホテルの部屋、誰も座っていない椅子。目に留まっても、ほどなく忘れてしまいそうな風景。褪せた壁や薄いカーテンの向こうには、誰かが過ごし、去っていった時間が残っている。本作は、そうした日常の断片に目を留め、光と色の連なりとして編んだ写真集。

ありふれた一日にも、二度と同じようには訪れない光があった。街の名前も、そこにいた人も知らない。それでも、本を閉じたあとに残る色がある。忘れかけていた風景へ、もう一度目を向けたくなる珠玉の一冊。

Windows in an unnamed town, hotel rooms passedthrough, chairs left empty. Scenes that catch the eye, only to slip from memory. In faded walls and behind sheer curtains linger traces of those who once spent time there. This photobook gathers such fragments of everyday life into a sequence of light and colour.

Even an ordinary day held a light that would never fall in quite the same way again. We know neither the names of the towns nor the people who were there. Yet some colours remain after the book is closed. An exquisite collection that invites us to look again at places we had almost forgotten.
