今回の新作は、ファッションの分野でも幅広く活躍する写真家・白川青史による、ニューヨークを舞台とした本作品。
彼が見つめたのは華やかな都市の表層ではなく、その奥に息づく陰影と体温、人々の気配。擦れた看板や濡れた歩道、静かに語りかける壁といった断片を詩情豊かに映し出しています。
撮るのではなく「出会う」ことで紡がれた写真は、ページをめくるたびにニューヨークの音や気配を呼び覚まし、読む人を都市の深層へと導いてくれます。そこに描かれるのは、きらびやかな幻想ではなく、日常の陰影と温度、そしてすれ違う無数のまなざし。

白川青史
藤田一浩氏に師事。2004年より国内外の雑誌やファッションブランドのビジュアル撮影に携わり、広告やキャンペーン、エディトリアルまで幅広く活動を展開。洗練された構図や独特の視点に定評があり、多くのクライアントから高い支持を集めている。また、UNION MAGAZINEとは創刊号より撮影に携わり、同誌の独自の世界観づくりに貢献している。

SEISHI SHIRAKAWA
He studied under Kazuhiro Fujita. Since 2004, he has been engaged in visual production for both domestic and international magazines and fashion brands, working across advertising, campaigns, and editorials. Renowned for his refined compositions and distinctive perspective, he has earned the trust and acclaim of numerous clients. He has also contributed to Union Magazine since its inaugural issue, playing a key role in shaping the publication’s unique visual identity.
